There have been black bear sitings recently within Greater Groves and the surrounding communities!
As of January 1, 2021 Lake County Solid Waste has run out of bear proof trash cans.
Residents are urged to call the Lake County Solid Waste Department at 352-343-9400 to add their name to the waiting list for a bear proof trash can.
